The Week: 12th – 18th January

Sunset Queanbeyan to Canberra Australia 15th January 2015 Sonya Heaney Oksana Heaney

Driving to the state border on Wednesday night.

The twelfth anniversary of the Canberra bushfires.

Crazy week. Monday morning began with my ninety-two year old grandmother taking a tumble in the garden, going to hospital in an ambulance and staying there three nights. Now she’s back home and covered from head to toe in bandages. Also sporting a black and blue face!

So I’ve been across the border in New South Wales a lot this week.

I was introduced to a few new-to-me authors this week I’ll review soon. Historical fiction writers who write more realistic books.
